Create and send customized quotation templates with Templatized Quotation Builder.

Install App

Overview

Templatized Quotation Builder App helps Kylas users to convert their Kylas quotations to a customized template. Users can also download the quotations as a PDF and email them to the end customer.

Install the app:

  1. Click ‘Install’ button on the app details page
  2. Enter your Kylas Login credentials on the next screen
  3. Check the permissions required in order to install the app and click ‘Allow and Install’
  4. The app will be installed on your Kylas account and you need to sign up on the app with your Email id.
  5. After signing up, you will receive a verification email. Verify your Email by clicking on the link available in Email
  6. Navigate to the Kylas Marketplace → Installed apps → Templatized Quotation builder view details

Enter Kylas API key:

  1. After installing the app and log in, click on ‘API keys’ section and enter Kylas API key.
  2. Click here to get your API key. (Login from Tenant account of Kylas)
  3. Save the Kylas API key.
  4. After you insert the API key, the Templatized Quotation builder app will create a Webhook, named ‘Quotation Webhook’  in your Kylas account with Quotation Created and Updated event
  5. You can view the Webhooks by navigating to Kylas -> CRM Settings -> Integrations -> Webhooks

Manage Users:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Manage Users’ section of the Templatized Quotation builder application
  2. Click on ‘Add User’
  3. Choose one of the Kylas user
  4. Choose role from Admin and Member
  5. Click ‘Save’
  6. The user will get an invite on their email id. The user can verify their email and they will be able to login

Quotation templates:

  1. Navigate to ‘Quotation templates’ section of the Templatized Quotation builder app
  2. You will see three sample templates already present on your Account.
  3. Click ‘Preview’ to view the template with sample contents
  4. Click ‘Mark as Default’ to mark a template default
  5. Click ‘Deactivate’ to mark a template inactive.

Automated quotation conversion to default template

  1. When you will Create or Update a Quotation in Kylas, Kylas will send Webhook to the Templatized quotation builder application, and the application will convert the Quotation to the default template format.
  2. You can download the templatized Quotation by clicking on the ‘Download’ button of Kylas Quotations

View Quotation conversion logs:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Logs’ section of Kylas quotation builder app
  2. There you can see the list of Quotations converted to the default template of the time, along with who and when converted.

Request for a custom template: You can also request for a custom template from the application

  1. Navigate to the ‘Quotation templates’ section of the Templatized Quotation builder app
  2. Click ‘Request Custom Template’ button
  3. Enter your Name, Email id, Description and attach one or more sample quotation pdf of images with all details mentioned appropriately.
  4. Click ‘Save’
  5. The app will send an email to the Kylas support email id ‘support@kylas.io’ and Kylas Support team will reach out to you about the custom template creation.
